On Friday, April 6, Tuacahn presents An Evening with Judy Collins. Few singers have the staying power of folk icon, Judy Collins. For nearly 45 illustrious years, her dulcet tones have graced our ears, and her poetic lyrics have galvanized a generation. She has released more than 40 albums, has had numerous Top 10 hits, Grammy nominations and gold and platinum selling albums. Judy Collins is truly the definition of a living legend. Her influence in music and politics

has spread over decades. Her vocal interpretations have inspired millions. From the time

she discovered folk music and was signed to Elektra in 1961 to her current new albums,

new songs, television specials, books and work with UNICEF and landmines, Judy has

always remained creative and vibrant as an artist.

On Saturday, April 14, Tuacahn welcomes the famous musical duo Air Supply with a special solo performance by Graham Russell. S igned to Arista Records in 1980, Air Supply’s hit song, “ Lost in Love,” became the fastest selling single in the world and leaped to the top of the charts. Their second single, the popular “ All Out of Love,” quickly became another big hit. Seven top-five singles later, Air Supply at that time had equaled the Beatle’s run of consecutive top five singles. The albums “ Lost in Love,” “ The One That You Love,” “ Now & Forever” and “ The Greatest Hits” sold in excess of 20 million copies. “ Lost in Love” was named “song of the year” in 1980, and with the other singles sold over 10 million copies. The trademark sound of Russell Hitchcock’s soaring tenor voice and Graham Russell’s simple yet majestic songs created a unique sound that would forever be known as Air Supply. “Lost in Love,” “All Out of Love,” “The One That You Love,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Making Love Out of Nothing at All” have each achieved multi-million plays on the radio.

Friday, April 20, unites two powerful groups of musicians: Tuacahn’s Broadway Divas and Southern Utah’s very own Southwest Symphony. Enjoy the vocal talents of some of your favorite leading ladies from Tuacahn's past productions along with the majestic sounds of a full orchestra. This enchanting evening of Broadway showtunes accompanied live by The Southwest Symphony will reunite audiences with some of their favorite music and performers. Enjoy a wide range of familiar music from the popular musicals of yesteryear as well as new selections from recent Broadway hits.

On Saturday, April 28, Peter Breinholt returns to the Tuacahn Amphitheatre following last year’s popular performance. Singer/songwriter Peter Breinholt has been delighting audiences with his self-styled acoustic music for more than a decade. He has filled the house at Tuacahn and in every major concert hall in Utah, including Kingsbury Hall, Capitol Theater, Sundance, the Sandy City Amphitheater, and Thanksgiving Point. His credits include five albums, a concert DVD, two guitar songbooks, a film score, Pearl Awards, songwriting awards and concerts with several symphony orchestras.

On Saturday, May 5, two very popular country music bands take to the Tuacahn stage for the first time—Restless Heart and Little Texas. Restless Heart was one of RCA’s greatest band success stories of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, turning out a series of gold-selling albums, garnering a host of award nominations, and crossing over to the adult-contemporary charts. Their hits include “I’ll Still Be Loving You,” “Tender Lie,” “Why Does It Have to Be (Wrong or Right),” “When She Cries,” “Bluest Eyes in Texas,” and “Dancy’s Dream.” Many of the dozens of county-music groups that have appeared during the past few years will tell you that they were inspired by the virtuoso performances of Restless Heart. The group’s brilliant 1985-94 string of successes remains unmatched for sheer technical finesse, heartfelt vocal emotion and downright audio charisma.

Little Texas was conceived in 1988, in Nashville, Tennessee, by a handful of guys in their early twenties who were willing to do just about anything to bring their brand of rockin’ county to the forefront of the music industry. Before hitting the big time, the band crisscrossed America for three long years, playing every bar and honky tonk from Myrtle Beach, SC, to Los Angeles, CA. After the album First Time For Everything was released, five singles reached the top of the charts. The second album, Big Time, truly was the big time for Little Texas, as it spawned three number 1 singles with “What Might Have Been,” “God Blessed Texas” and “My Love,” capturing the very first CMT award, a Billboard award, a Radio & Records award and a Grammy nomination, and to date has sold over three million copies.

Saturday, May 12, brings Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Peter Cetera to the outdoor amphitheatre in what is sure to be one of the hottest events of the season. Cetera has succeeded with two profound musical careers. As a distinguished solo artist since 1986, his notable hits have included the #1 Single and Academy Award Nominated song “The Glory of Love” from the hit movie “The Karate Kid II”, “The Next Time I Fall” with Amy Grant, “Feels Like Heaven” with Chaka Khan, “Restless Heart”, “After All” with Cher, from the motion picture “Chances Are”, and “No Explanation”from the mega hit film, Pretty Woman.

Prior to his prominent solo career, he was the legendary voice, songwriter, & bass player for the Multi-Platinum group, Chicago. His world wide success with the Grammy Award winning band, includes the hits “If You Leave Me Now”, “Hard to Say I’m Sorry”, “Baby What a Big Surprise”, “You’re the Inspiration”, “Stay the Night”, “Love Me Tomorrow”, and “Hard Habit to Break.” Don't miss this dynamic musician when he appears live with The Southwest Symphony on the Tuacahn Amphitheatre stage for one night only!

On Saturday, May 19, everyone’s favorite dance company, Odyssey Dance Theatre, returns to the Tuacahn Amphitheatre stage following their recent sold out run of “Thriller” last October. This time around, the Odyssey dancers interpret the music of one of the greatest bands in history—The Beatles! Back by popular demand, the full-length work set to the music of the Beatles has received rave reviews and standing ovations around the world. The show includes all of your favorite tunes such as “Yesterday,” “Come Together,” and “Help”--all in a playful and touching evening. The Salt Lake Tribune said the show “offers pieces of brilliance and nostalgia!'”
