Ivins, UT - Tuacahn's Broadway in the Desert theatre season continues this fall featuring Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat which will run in repertory from September 2 to October 15 (dark on October 11) in the Tuacahn Amphitheatre.
There will be few changes in the Tuacahn cast for the fall portion of the season. However, there will be a new member of the cast playing the role of Joseph. Jeff McLean, son of LDS artist Michael McLean, will replace T.J. Young as Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
"Jeff has big shoes to fill in replacing TJ Young," says Scott Anderson, Tuacahn's Artistic Director. "T.J. has been well liked by our patrons, but I think Jeff will prove to be equally popular." "I think audiences will be enamored with the quality and sound of Jeff's voice and he'll bring his own unique charm and charisma to the role."
Jeff has played the role of Joseph twice before and has numerous musical theatre credits. He is well known for his role as a featured soloist in Michael McLean's Forgotten Carols, and he has toured with BYU's Young Ambassadors. Jeff and his dad recently released a new album entitled "Time out With Michael and Jeff McLean." Jeff is currently attending Dixie College.
